About Structural Packaging
Good packaging design seduces, it tells and sells. We know what it takes to convince consumers. The book tries to offer thorough analysis, experience, initiative, creativity and a full measure of perseverance to help brands develop, and become and remain successful. In and outside the packaging world.
The idea of compiling some of our creations in one volume excited us from the moment Index Book suggested it, even though we were aware of the fact that it meant accomplishing a detailed prior analysis, revision, selection and organization of the 135 projects that have finally become part of it.
After several months of intense dedication, StructuralPackaging is not just a project but something real: nothing less than a careful compilation of the most representative and unique die-cut packages that Tribu-3 has made for its customers in the last years, presented in 3 different levels according to design complexity, materials, production and manipulation.
In this way, with a basic manipolation process, while Level 2 involves packages that need more than one die-cut and combine different materials, so manipolation precision often determines the final result. And Level 3 shows that we are often keen on complications with packages formed by several die-cuts, interior reinforcements, combination of several materials, maximum design complexity and manipulation.
It is not a mere compilation of models of boxes and packages - which would also have, no doubt, its own merit- but an authentic handbook on promotional Packaging, an essential guide because of the originality and the technical complexity of most of the pieces and also because of the singularity of the procedure used.
The way in which each pack has been treated, explaining and examining it so deeply to the least possible detail, makes StructuralPackaging a reference work far from any creative standard and close, instead, to free creativity applied to communication.
